Are NBA players getting paid too much? Most people think that it is ridiculous for NBA players to get paid millions of dollars; especially when there are millions of people unemployed and/or living in poverty debts with other nations. Millions that we are paying to NBA players could go towards something that we are having trouble with like poverty and unemployment. NBA players are getting paid too much because NBA rookies start off with millions, most of NBA players are getting paid over 20 million a year and NBA players last season got paid by point. This is ridiculous that NBA players are getting paid and starting off with this much.

This is ridiculous because Rose hasn’t played that many games due to injuries. Rose has had many knee injuries and a torn meniscus. These have been some season ending injuries and have kept Rose sidelined for many games. Kobe Bryant was the highest paid player per point making 366,913 per point. Kobe is a future Hall of Famer and has won five NBA championships. He has led the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Finals many times. But why is Kobe getting paid so much? Bryant is the highest paid player in the NBA but these last two seasons he has been injured and the 36-year-old appeared in only six games last season before suffering a knee fracture. Kevin Garnett was paid 126 million dollars for 6 seasons with the Timberwolves. The second player was Jermaine O’Neal with the second most expensive contract with the Indiana Pacers. His contract was worth $126,558,000 and it was for the NBA seasons 2003-2010. This is just amazing to know that NBA players are getting paid this much money to play what they love doing. Kobe Bryant has the most expensive contract in NBA history with a whopping $136,400,000 for NBA seasons 2004-2011 with the Los Angeles Lakers.
