A Generatio Generation: Article Analysis

Are Millennials productive and hardworking? Does the Generation Gap negatively affect how Baby Boomers see Millennials and vice versa? Has technology made young Americans lazier, more narcissistic and less intelligent than generations past? The debate about generations has probably been going on since generations have existed. Older people have looked with disdain at young people since the beginning of time, so why is this? Different experiences, traditions, opinions, work requirements and ethics. There probably have been many reasons concocted but the derogatives said about millennial cannot be true for all. Though past generations look down on Millennials thinking that they are lazy, narcissistic,and less intelligent; However, Millennials need to work harder to live reasonably in this time. Even though the job market is completely different from before, Millennials get no sympathy for not finding jobs, because people think that they deserve unemployment. It 's weird to say that if you were born at a certain time you have a superiority over other generations. If you enjoy the same technologies that make the next generation so “lazy” or “unintelligent”, if you are just as dependent it is hypocritical to blame all of our troubles on one thing or one generation. Baby Boomers need to get over their superiority, being older does not make you wiser and being ignorant to younger people 's cultures does not justify opinions against said younger people. Millennials need to set a better example because if older people view us like this how will others? I admit it is hard to be a millennial but every generation has gone through their fair share of struggles. Someday we will be running the country and for the next Generation, I hope for the younger generation sake we don 't harshly criticized them as Millennials are
