Humans are Naturally Good Humans are naturally born good in the sense humans do what is in their best interest. By nature humans are innocent when they are born for they only know what is rewarding for them and detrimental. Humans only become vile when their best interests clash with someone else's or are taught to become desensitized by others from what is right or wrong. Throughout time it has became known that people’s values can change rather drastically over time to have more goodness. In essence the human brain is like “plastic even in adulthood” just being trained over and over to inevitably become “more generous and kind”(Bhattacharjee). People naturally have a sense of what is right and wrong but since the brain is like plastic no matter the course of life people can learn to have more goodness or little to no goodness. There are many times Humans are stereotyped by their ancestors which is sometimes true considering they have a “tendency to develop psychopathic and antisocial”(Bhattacharjee) characteristics. Generally speaking many people that grow up at the bottom of the caste system generally stay there because what they are taught as a child. In some societies many people share the same trait such as the one prevalent in The Book Thief . During the time period of the Holocaust many children were made to attend the Hitler Youth Program so they could be taught in the vision of what Hitler had in store for them.
