Unknown A chilly fall day in New York City, the smell of hot dogs and garbage in the air. Erick was on the busy sidewalk trying to get some money by selling cigarettes. He wasn’t having much luck but he really needed the money to buy a suit so he can get a job so he can support himself.
“Cigarettes, cigarettes!” Erick yelled at the crown of people. Nobody paid attention to him and went about their own business.”Cigarettes, Cigarettes!” he continued yelling.

“Because its against the law to sell them like that”
“No it’s not.” He said surely.
“Im an officer of the law i know what's legal and what not, and i say it’s illegal.” he said, “now stop selling them or we’ll have a problem.”
“ You cant arrest me for a crime that's not real.” He said. The cop started to walk back to his car and picked up his radio. Erick couldn't listen to what he was saying so he waited. 20 minutes later 3 more squad cars showed up. “ Are you serious” said Erick, “over some stupid cigarettes”
“ Sir ima need you to get in the car with us please.” said one of the new officers.
“No” said Erick, “ you can't do that it's unjust.”
“Yes we can, now get in the car.”

The rest of the officers froze for a moment then all got on Erick and started beating him like a mad dog. The crowd was horrified started screaming and yelled at them to stop but they didn't. Some of the people tried to stop it by trying to get the officers of him but they got beat to and arrested. after what felt like forever they stopped. The crowd was shocked of how bad they beat Erick. He was bleeding from his mouth, nose, and his head was cracked open. His clothes was dripping in blood and he was breathing very slowly and coughing out blood as if he was shot, but it was only with night sticks. An ambulance was called immediately but it was too late Erick had died. Beaten to death. The crowd was
