Are Cell Phones Modernized Society?

The cell phone is a device that is useful to many in various ways. A cell phone in itself is a great tool, but the other tools on the cell phone make it even superior. Thanks to cell phones, all the information we could ever need is at our fingertips. Cell phones have modernized the way society functions through providing services that society could not function without today.
Relationships
First, cell phones make it easy to stay in touch with people. It permits parents to stay in contact with children. If a child goes out with a friend, having a cell phone allows contact to be made between the child and the parents. Parents do not have to worry as much about their kids because they can be in constant communication with them. A cell phone makes long distance relationships easier. I have a girlfriend that resided in Muhlenberg and attends the University of Kentucky now, without a cell phone I would not have been able to sustain the relationship that I have with her. It is easier to stay associated with coaches and information can be conveyed in various ways. Coaches can be communicated via email. With cell phones nobody has to be at home to check an email, you can check your email at any time on a cell phone. Coaches on the phone more it would build better relationships. I individually have spoken to a lot of football coaches and have been recruited through the Twitter Application. Without the use of a cell phone it would have been challenging for me to be in constant contact with the college coaches. Social media and the other tools a cell phone deals make recruitment for athletes less of a hassle.
