When people get disconnected from there phones they get depressed and get with drawl. "People that are addicted to their phones find it hard to stay from them. Such people then feel strong withdrawal symptoms when they cannot have their phones including severe depression." (Kowalski,2014) It can also make you neglect spending time with your friends and family. These symptoms are the same as having an Alcohol addiction. Teens crave using their phones the most out of any age group, its hard for teens to disconnect since there so used to having a phone. Cell phone addiction is also bad for your health always being on your phone can cause eye problems such as eyestrain, blurred visions, and dizziness and can effect your eyes later in life. Text on cell phone screen are small and people have to squint to read or go really close to the screen this can cause a host of problems. Many car crashes are due to texting or talking on a cell phone and one who's addicted to their phones are more prone to check their phone while driving. Connecting to friends and family is good and cell phones keep people connected. or they can help if you need help during an emergency. But there needs to be a limit to our use of cell phones. Texting family and friends is a good thing expressly when you cant see family members that live far away. But you shouldn’t do it in public or with other people around since it can be rude for some people when someone pulls out their phone. The problem isn't cell phones themselves its how much we use them and where we use them. "We are close to our phones. Maybe too close.
