While many people agree that these animals are being abused. Many other sources, however, argue that the animals are doing what they were born to do and do not suffer. “They are not good candidates for release to the wild either because they were born in captivity or because they have been in captivity for a long time” (Martin 1). People believe that animals are better off in captivity than they are out in the wild. However, this argument overlooks the rights and the needs of the animals. Although people disagree on that, they believe the animals are safer and in better conditions. In reality, it causes them to change and hold them against their will. Overall no matter what the case maybe, animals will be neglected.
