Arctic Rush Research Paper

My ride is entitled, Arctic Rush. The ride contains a Winter theme that will remind you of the season. Throughout the ride, you will go up a mountain, swirl around a humongous snowman and a gigantic penguin, dodge icicles, and go through snow while riding in an icicle. My ride has a hydraulic launch at the beginning that will instantly shoot you up the mountain, and throughout the roller coaster. You will be moving at a top speed of 100 miles per hour throughout the ride, which will allow you to soar! This ride is around 45 seconds long. Arctic Rush is a safe ride because the seats are latched onto you, making it impossible for you to become injured or unconscious. Once you are almost at the bottom of the mountain before friction slows you down, you have hit your terminal velocity and the highest speed of kinetic energy. You are moving faster in this place than you are anywhere else during the ride. When you’re on your way to speed up the loop, you have a very fast velocity. In this place, you also have a large amount of air resistance acting on you due to friction and your direction. During this part, you experience high G-forces acting on you due to your position. Once you are down the mountain, you are lifted towards a loop. In this loop, you are experiencing a centripetal force, or the force an object moving along a circular path to move toward the center of the path. You experience a large g-force in this loop due to your position upside down. When nearing the end of the loop, you experience projectile motion, as a result of being shot from the top of the loop throughout the rest of the roller coaster. You travel beyond the loop during this roller coaster and swirl around an over-sized snowman. To swirl around the snowman, you are being pushed toward the side of the track to bring you around. You
