Ancient literature teaches us how we should use words to create themes in movies. One similar theme the writers of Oedipus the King and The Last Witch Hunter have describes how having secrets can be harmful. For example, Jokasta and Dolan 37th lost their life because they kept their secrets. According to Smith, ancient literature helps students improve in many ways. One way is that international students learn the English history and how it came to be. Ancient literature also helps fluent English learn more about American Literature and Ancient Greek drama. Another reason is if the student can learn how to read ancient literature they will be able to comprehend any other literature without difficulty. If the student can comprehend any other literature, they would want to read more and learn a great amount of new vocabulary (Smith).
