Myths are based on religion supernatural being or creators/gods/ demigods.
Fairy Tales are children stories based on fantastic element, imaginary creatures, conflict between good and evil and magic.
Tall Tales is the exaggeration is so obvious that there is often no question based on truth.

The archetypal hero’s journey fits into folklore because the journey relates to historical facts about different cultures and religions.
The Legends I chose has the strongest connection to the archetypal hero’s journey because they were based on how the ancient people of Egypt were so arranged to throw light on their beliefs and their traditional customs. Stages 1 and 5 maps out Egyptian folklore because the stories creates a contrast of strange new world and consequences throughout the journey. The journey’s significance in folklore was to be informed by stories which related to the creation of the world and the world by the gods. In which their purpose was to transport to another universe. The journey helps the reader/listener to connect to the story of Egypt because the reader can relate to the stories that are being told by the ancient people.
