Arbitration For Court Cases

Decent Essays
Going to trial with anyone has some drawbacks that need to be thought of first. For instance, it can be time consuming and exhausting, it can take up a lot of money hiring lawyers and filing court paperwork, and most importantly there is no guarantee that you will win your lawsuit even if you decided all these things were worth it. I think in this case I would recommend to Lorenzo to look into arbitration. Arbitration is a neutral third party that will hear both sides and impose a solution for the parties involved. The arbitrator decides the “award” for the parties involved which could be legally binding. I suppose this could be a good or bad thing depending if it goes in Lorenzo favor.

Yes, I would advise employers to use arbitration agreements. One of the main reasons that I am for employers using arbitration agreements to resolve issues is that it offers more privacy than anything held in a public courtroom. With the internet and social media platforms in use today it seems that when something negative happens with a business entity it is amplified.…

Divorces are very stressful, time-consuming, and sometimes difficult to resolve. I agree, mini-trials or even mediation is a better option for couples wanting to dissolve their marriage. Juries are seldom used in divorces, but the threat of a jury trial usually convinces parties to resolve their marriages outside of court.…
