Aragorn And Lord Of The Rings Comparison Essay

Improved Essays
Characters from movies, tv shows and novels all have traits that make them relatable to individual people. One of my all time favorite book series is the Lord of the Rings. All of the interesting places, stories and people make for an amazing collection of books. The person I relate to the most from Lord of the Rings is Aragorn. Me and Aragorn are both helpful, optimistic and adventurous. Firstly, I love helping people. I help random people, my mom, my dad and I help out at the Westmoreland Food Bank. I aid my mom with her walking, and get things around the house for her, because she lives with multiple sclerosis. I also help my dad with chores around the house, mow the law, prepare our RV for vacation and help clean it after vacation. I don’t quite save villages of people from orcs, or …show more content…
Many people get down about bad things that happen to them, but I try to stay positive. I try not to think about the bad things that happen in life, because I know everything will turn out just fine in the end. If I get a bad grade on a test, I don’t get down about it, I study harder and ace the next one. This is true of Aragorn too, he always looks past the bad and focuses on the good. If he looked at the Fellowship of the Ring, and said these people are never going to make it to Mount. Doom, he might as well have given up at the start. Lastly, just like Aragorn, I am also very adventurous. I love exploring the outdoors and going to places in nature that not many other people have been to. My dad and I have gone on countless incredible adventures from the bottom Grand Canyon in Arizona, to the top of Cadillac Mountain in Maine. Aragorn has also been on many adventures all over Middle Earth, from the dungeons of Sauron's tower, to the outskirts of the Shire. He has been on countless epic adventures across Middle Earth, as I have been on many epic adventures across

From the play that I read, Antigone, there is a character that strongly identifies with me. Out of all of the characters, I discovered that Ismene has the most similarities as me than the others because we are both supportive and care for our family members, regardless of their actions. To begin with, Ismene is reasonably a self-righteous person because she thinks ahead and follows the laws. The following quote will demonstrate simply as is, “But think of the danger! Think what Creon will do!”…
