Introduction:
I chose to search this topic for several reasons:
First, I related to this topic because I used to go to Arabic restaurants most of my free time as I can relate to my Arabic culture and background by going there.
Second, I found myself interested in searching this topic because before I came to the U.S, I did not know about the Arab communities here in LA County which it considered one of the largest Arab communities in the U.S.
What I knew:
I already knew that most of the owners of Arabic restaurants in LA County are Arab Americans. Arab Americans are an ethnic group who trace their roots to the Arabic-speaking countries of the Middle East and North Africa.
I also knew that the customers in Arabic restaurants are not only Arabs but also there are American customers.
The Search:
I have construct three main research questions:
1. Are the names of Arabic dishes in Arabic restaurants known by Americans even if they not used to go to Arabic restaurants? How these names influence American English
2. Arabic restaurants employs Americans employees, How that interactions may influence the American English?

I learned from this result that names of the Arabic dishes are words that exclusively used in Arabic restaurants communities and only customers of these restaurants are able to know them. However, some words are not followed this rule and can be known by people even if they not used to go there such as hummus. These words may found their way to enter American
