The decision was made in August that any student who had not completed the P.E. course for the 2014-2015 school year, would be enrolled in the new 2015-2016 course which is VAL PE Full Credit V2. Arabella was still enrolled in the 2014 Physical Education Full Credit course which is now the Half Credit P.E. course. She had been enrolled in this course for 19 months only completing 6 out of 36 assignments. The Physical Education course was expected to be completed within a year, however, she had not done so. It should also be notated the last time she submitted an assignment was October of 2015. In Decemeber, Mrs. Cheryl was authorized after discussion to close all students who had not complete the course after given a year and a half to do so. In January, every student who had not attained the 50 percent benchmark were shut down and moved to the new course. Arabella was only at 27 percent completed in the course with a letter grade of F. The only exception, were students who were enrolled in the course in either May or June of 2015 were allowed to continue working and complete the 2014-2015 Physical Education course. Arabella did meet this criteria therefore she has been assigned to the new course. After conducting research, I learned she was not enrolled in the new course in January like the other students had been. Therefore, I will afford her extend the time to complete the course by December of 2016. However, if she works diligently, she can complete the course by May allowing her to earn her full carneige

A parent was seeking the 504 plans for her seventh-grade daughter since she had been previously accommodated for her school anxiety. The response to this by Mike Casper was to wait and assess her progress in the mid-semester period that seems he did not trust the information from the concerned parent. Also, this was to adjust her teaching accordingly as the teachers would see fit. Therefore, this was an excellent way to the inquiry since the assessment of the child was the only way to determine whether they needed adjustment from IEP to the 504 plans but he should have considered the 504 transfer plan from the previous school before discussing it with the 504 team and for re-evaluation so as to continue using 504…
