His administration wanted to consider bringing forth the idea of two states to put an end to the territorial disputes. President Obama could have held back foreign aid until Israel agreed to end the ongoing issue with Palestine and give back the land that belonged to Palestine. President Obama seemed determined in the beginning that he would be the president to end the issues with Israel and finally put them in their place and that they would have consequences for their actions against Palestine. None of this however occurred he ended up in the same position as all the presidents before him. The policy of allowing Israel to get and do whatever they so pleased.
