For my Teacher Appreciation Day assignment, I chose you to write this letter to. I think that you deserve an act of kindness because you should be given kindness back. You are generous with collecting homework assignments, and you genuinely care for your students’ learning experiences. You prepare us for tests as best as you can and provide extra credit options to get our grades higher. We get to take extra test time on your own time; you sacrifice your own free time, just so we can finish a question or two. Your enthusiasm in taking notes and learning about math encourages me to do better and listen more carefully. You spend a huge amount of time grading our tests and giving us half credit, caring about what we will learn from our mistakes.
