Applying Vic Trenton's Trip To Sharp Cereals

Then introduced the dramas of Donna and Vic Trenton’s marriage and that it is slowly falling apart. Vic has suspicions his wife is cheating. In truth, Donna actually has been having an affair with a man named Steve Kemp, but she had very recently terminated it. Unfortunately, Steve is not happy with the end of their relations and he writes a note to Vic, making it brazenly clear that Donna was cheating. He confronts her, and she gives excuses as to why she did it. To my surprise they both stay calm, and attempt to work it out. They go to bed, but neither one of them got much sleep. Vic and his partner, Roger, are struggling to keep their advertising business, AdWorx, from slipping under. Their largest client, Sharp Cereals, has recently produced …show more content…
Vic and Roger are afraid they are going to lose this client and in result, lose the majority of their profit. They collectively decide they should venture on a two week long trip to travel to Sharp Cereal’s headquarters to help in the endeavor to create a new campaign that will make up for the damage to their company. The trip comes four days after Vic hears of Donna’s affair with Steve Kemp. Joe Cambers is a drunken mechanic who abuses and walks all over his wife Charity and their ten year old son Brett. Charity wins a $5,000 lottery prize, and uses the money to convince Joe to allow her to take Brett on a trip to visit Charity's sister, Holly, in Connecticut. Joe agrees, after a huge argument, but only agrees because he secretly plans to use their trip to his advantage to travel to Boston with his alcoholic friend, and neighbor, Gary …show more content…
Joe goes down to Gary's to ask who might watch the dog, however Joe finds Gary dead. Joe goes into the kitchen to call the police, unaware that Cujo was the one who killed Gary and has been sleeping in the basement. The dog finds Joe and kills him, too. Donna and Tad take their old Ford Pinto to the Cambers' for repairs. The car breaks down in Camber's driveway and while Donna is trying to find Joe, unaware that he is already dead, she sees Cujo and immediately recognizes that he is rabid. She runs back in the car and closes the door before Cujo is given the opportunity to attack. Donna and Tad are trapped in their vehicle, out of options, they wait for the night to end, trapped in the car. They are stuck in the car the next day as well, waiting for rescue. Toward the end of the day, when it is obvious there will be no one coming to help them, Donna focuses on the porch door, she believes she can make it to the door before the dog, but she is afraid it will be locked and that the dog will get
