Improved Essays
Tesla’s autopilot feature is an important step towards autonomous driving. If cars can change lanes by themselves, they could, in theory, drive completely by themselves. Also, staying a certain distance behind the car in front is an important building block in autonomous driving. This feature might help stop self-driving cars avoid rear-ending each other in the future. In conclusion, Tesla’s autopilot contains features that self-driving cars of the future could use.
