Applying for : Master 's in Industrial engineering for Fall 2011
When asked how much educated men were superior to those uneducated, Aristotle answered, “As much as the living are to the dead” ,aptly defines the importance of education in deciding how successful a human will turn out to be irrespective of where he started from. Science has always been instrumental in easing the hardship of human existence throughout the history of mankind. With this fascination I took MPC (mathematics, physics, chemistry) as my majors in my intermediate education (XI &XII) .After clearing the AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) and ending up in the top 1% of the total 9,00,000 students taking the examination, I went on to take up Mechanical engineering in NIT Jaipur, one of the NIT’s(formerly known as REC’s), which are considered to be prestigious institutions for undergraduate engineering study in India. In the course of time I have developed a special inclination towards the subjects involving analytical applications, like Operations Research, Production and Industrial engineering. Industrial engineering has accomplished things which were never dreamed possible. The need for optimization of the process, reducing the expenditure and increasing the profits could be met only by the advancement in Industrial engineering. The challenges present in the field of Industrial engineering and its incredible impact on industries thereby human life…
