Mr. Jones, a very harsh dictator, who also a bit gruesome, which lead to him being exiled out of Manor Farm, his own farm.The book started with a brief explanation of Mr. Jones, stating “Mr. Jones, of the Manor Farm, had locked the hen-houses for the night, but was too drunk to remember to shut the pop-holes.”(Ch.P1.1) By reading this, automatically understood that Mr.Jones, a leader/dictator of the farm, also starts to unveil his incompetency as he gets to drunk to the point where he cannot shut the pop-holes. While continue reading the realization that the animals, fed up from a human dictator especially one who does not care about them, because of this they take action, “Mrs. Jones looked out of the bedroom window, saw what was happening, hurriedly flung a few possessions into a carpet bag, and slipped out of the farm by another way.
