Previously in my high school career I did not really know what I wanted to do in my life, until the summer before my senior year in school. During the summer I gained an interest in the Criminal justice and legal side of things, I have no idea where this newfound interest came from, but I feel that a career in this field would suit me and my personality great. The reason I am applying to University of Wisconsin Superior is because it seemed like the best fit for me, being that it is one of the few schools in Wisconsin that offers legal studies and is also only about a hour and a half drive from my house. I also choose UW Superior because it meet most if not all things I am looking for in a school such as being close to home but not to close. …show more content…

My junior year a abstained from cross country to focus on my grades and doing better in school. once I started focussing on my grades they improved greatly and gave made me realize that I can accomplish many things if i just set my mind to it.
I truly hope that I am accepted for the 2016-2017 school year as I will be the first one in my immediate family to go to college and complete it, because when I commit to something I cannot help but finish it out while doing my best. With this degree I would be able to fulfill my dream of working in the legal field. I feel like I would be a valued member to the courses I would be involved in and the people I come across and

Essay A There is a straight road in my hometown that in one coincidental way or another has shaped my entire life. The road is known as Junction Highway, and every place that has ever been important to me I have gotten to by using this road. On Junction Highway I have driven home from school feeling exhausted from whatever practice that I experienced that day, but still smiling as I rolled the windows down on my 2005 baby blue beetle, and let the fragrant hill country breeze blow my hair in my face. I've watched the golden pink and purple orange sunsets, and enjoyed countless songs on the radio.…

During my high school years, I recall working in the fields during vacation breaks with my mother harvesting tomatoes, picking up cherries, and pruning grape vines. Fascinating as it sounds, I was always intrigued to understand why fruits and vegetables spoil or often cause food poising in humans. Although, when I questioned my mother why these fruits spoil, she responded it was due to "little bugs," which was not a sufficient response.…

Through my experience, my freshman and sophomore years as a musician were terrifying. On top of the shock of the new atmosphere at school, I had to play my instrument with and in front of others, which was quite a stretch for me at the time. I would always beat myself up about minute mistakes I had glorified during rehearsals, playing tests, and especially auditions. However, after I did not make an Illinois Allstate ensemble my junior year, my approach to these nerve-wracking situations completely changed.
