Applicant Williams, Paul is a current E-5 Navy Reservist with prior Navy active duty time. He was eager to get back on active duty for job security. The Station Commander met with Williams during the initial interview and during the packet building process. Williams told the Station Commander that the Navy was not going to take him back on active duty and wanted to pursue a career with the Army with active duty being the end goal. Williams was motivated and assisted in getting all the source docs and his packet built with little to no delay. He agreed on an Enlistment date of 22NOV. During a follow up today 17NOV, Williams informed his recruiter the Navy approved his packet after a long delay and wished not to process with the Army any
