Better yet, he could create even more extraordinary products. With that in mind, Jobs decided to start another company called “NeXT” (134). Jobs then decided to move on forward with his life and sold almost all of his shares but one he had with Apple (135). That one share left was intended for Jobs to go to the shareholder meetings if he wanted to. Jobs also bought a small company maker of computer graphics equipment called “Pixar” from George Lucas, the filmmaker of the popular movie series Star Wars. Nonetheless, both companies Jobs owned would end up struggling for the new few years to find their…

Jobs was a man that revolutionized technology in his professional career, did not take more money than he needed, and inspired many great innovators with his accomplishments and strengths. Truly, Jobs represents an American hero through all of his achievements personally and professionally. He chooses the part of life where success is fulfillment enough rather than the money, which proves he is the American model for new coming businessmen. Heroism is a symbol of greatness and fearlessness that is represented throughout America. Thus, in a modern world filled with obstacles and challenges, Jobs found a way to leap over as many as he could. However, his use of wit and humor did mask some of his disdain for Microsoft and the Apple Board of Directors. For example, he said, “How can you get fired from a company you started? Well, as Apple grew we hired someone who I thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out” (Jobs para. 9). He did not mention these individuals directly, however, the listener certainly knows he does not hold them in high regard. Through his use of wit, rhetoric, and emotional triggers Jobs was able to persuade the audience that you can achieve great things even under difficult circumstances.…

Even if you have no idea where your life is going, trust that it will all work out. “Don’t lose faith” and “don't settle,” were also statements that he used to encourage others. Just as stated before, always believe something good is going to happen in the end and work at it like it’s the last chance you'll have to make it happen. Even if there is no way to go, “there is no reason not to follow your heart.” Using these encouraging words, Jobs proves his argument in order to show the reader that anything is possible.
