• Competition: Despite the fact that Apple is one of the top best products, there are other products that still strive to compete with Apple. Products like Toshiba, Dell, and Acer for computers. For Smart phones, some of the competitors include HTC, Samsung, and many more. One of the strongest competitors Apple has is Google. Google has come up with very good offerings in terms of operating systems, cloud services, music and books. Its operating system has so many benefits than that of Apple due to its open approach. One of the reasons that make Apple one of the best product is its product quality, therefore any little mistake can lead to marketing problems. Due to the fact that Apple releases new product every year, detecting a mistake could be very difficult. For example, consumer reports refused to endorse the iphone 4 due to issues consumers had with reception caused by the interference of Antenna, it created some doubts about the ability of Apple to be consistent in raising the bar on the quality of product.
• Customer Privacy: The Privacy of customers is also one of the major dilemmas faced by Apple. In 2011, Apple had a feature that collected data concerning a users’ location but lots of customers and government officials were not happy about this because they saw it as an act of infringing on users’ privacy, therefore this might eventually lead to the government passing legislation on mobile privacy which would definitely have major effects on

• Suppliers: Another segment in this case is the suppliers. The suppliers are the ones that make Apple products and services readily available for its consumers.
