In these days, technology industry has a high competition. Apple offers a wide range of products like Apple TV, iPods, iTunes, iPhones, and iPads which all involves technology. However, of all these products, Apple is famous on its iPhone. The mobile phone is one of the most highly demanded products and according to 24/7 Wall St., iPhone ranked ninth place in “The Best-Selling Products of All Time.” This is because people want to buy multitask electronic devices to save time and moreover, to make their life easier. Because I had a very positive image I never thought that Apple went through so many challenges of ethical issues. From my research, there were many issues that I thought I could have been prevented if they were careful about it. However, I do understand that ethical issues started to become a big thing recently and because Apple is such a big companies it are easy for them to get caught. I am pretty sure that many businesses are still doing illegal things to make a differentiation on their products. I also thought after learning about Apple, I should start paying attention to the news all around the world. If I did not take this class I would have never knew about Apple’s history of ethical issues. As an International business major, I should pay more attention in the news all around the world.
