In the Apple industry, code of the conduct was firstly introduced in 2005. Although over the years of Apple has made many changes through their codes of conduct depending on different types of risks. These in take settings have many risks that they might need to present themselves. Or to cover the areas the company, may already overlook. Apple 2015 the changes are given more new challenges that present themselves in many new occupations that are highly competitive market, the only way in which the company maintains to be so competitive towards others. This is mainly because most companies conduct of screening of Hepatitis B before they even hiring any employees, It could be viewed as a form of its out best discrimination by the public. This is because its just not an infection that could be transmitted by in being contact and hence its illogical to discriminate against those who may be infected. Although female candidates were mandatory to take a pregnancy test, to the public this could be misconstrued to be some form of discrimination against the pregnant women. The globalized world, which we all live in today, is one that we all consume rarely want to be attracted to the accompany which has had a reputation. No furthermore, the world today is one in which people are now constantly fighting for equal rights for women still can you believe they still are doing that. Mandatory pregnancy tests were removed from the Apple code, of conduct to show that the company has embraced the ideal of both equal rights and opportunities at work for both men and women. The company setup a code of conduct which stipulates that employees who work in any Apple company were required to put in 60 hours per week, and could only exceed this in case if emergency only. However, over these years the company discovered that some their supply chains, etc. exceeded this working hours by far and rarely everyday of the rest. (Apple, 2015). This is made it necessary not for just them but for every company to stipulate that there would really be no exceptions on the required number.
