As affirmed by Smither, Houston & McIntire (2016), every organization has a mission and a vision statement, which plays three critical roles. That is, they communicate the purpose of the firm to the stakeholders, outline and inform strategies development, and develop the measurable objectives and goals. In most cases, the future of a company is outlined in the vision statement; therefore, if an individual wants to know the going concern of a particular business, analyzing its vision can be a successful task. Thus, the paper describes one of the companies and its vision statement (Apple Inc.), then explain the qualities that make the statement meaningful, and how it appeals to the stakeholders. Again, it evaluates whether or not the company supports organizational changes, and finally, compare it with other companies within the industry.

The primary focus of the statement remains on innovation and quality products to the users. For instance, the company states, “We are constantly focusing on innovation” (Apple Inc. 2017). Again, it stresses on Apple’s values such as deep collaboration, honesty, and product excellence and illustrates its core beliefs, which is simplicity, “We believe in simplicity, not the complex” (Apple Inc. 2017). Nevertheless, the organization believes in performing meaningful work, which adds significant value to the firm’s image. Apart from that, the statement highlights the standards the company has set for itself where it does not settle for anything less than excellence.
