Apostle John is one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ who was later chosen to become an Apostle. John lived in Galilee in the small city called Capernaum, Zebedee was his father, Salome who is believed to be the sister of Mary was his mother and James was his brother. John and James with their father Zebedee together with Andrew and Peter were both partners as fishermen at the sea of Galilee. The map is located in Northern Palestine. The culture in Galilee had a tradition of political autonomy. The northern traditions that go into the Hebrew Bible are informed by this political sensibility of autonomy. It's a kind of quasi-anarchistic ideal, that this loose tribal confederacy is ruled directly by God.

In this letter, the old John called readers dear brothers, also called the elder, a young man, the little children. John in tell them how God love them on one hand, on the other hand also tell them that kind of love need to respond with love, because it is a sign of confidence. I remember the story from Luke 9: 49-56, this story show me on the way to follow Jesus, John wants to learn how to put himself down, to learn how to treat people Jesus, this is everyone to participate in the public ministry requires special attention to. If we don't know how to serve, so let's take a closer look at treat people the way Jesus, he shows god how to treat people, how to love people, how to help people. We often say we love God, however, we do not have same love to treat people, in fact, this reflects our inner problem, we are still in our own way in dealing with people. When a person is our intention, belong to our community, we will treat them with good; When the others not to our taste, not one with us, we may not be kind to them. This is the way to deal with the things , the attitude towards the acquaintance with different attitude toward strangers, change this situation, we just need to know ourselves. John is a good example of this, however, his life is in a fight with his temper. In the end he still treat others with love. John let me know we have love others ability, use this ability I can receive

The emperors in that time were cruel and masochistic men, of vast power and desires, and notoriously short tempers. And the one that stood out among them was Nero- the Emperor at the time that John wrote Revelations.…
