Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto, twin brother of Artemis. He is god of music and he often plays golden lyre. He is also known as the archer, far shooting with a silver bow. He is god of healing, medicin, light and truth. However, he also can bring forth of diseases and plague with his arrows. It shows that the god can cause the disease and prevent it. One of Apollo’s most important daily tasks is move the sun across the sky. In addition, Apollo is oracular god that he provides prophecy to people in Delphi.
