The Apollo Missions are a very important part of the space explorations project that the United States of America underwent. The missions consisted of tests and planning that ultimately landed men upon the moon. This was a great feat for mankind and allowed us to further investigate space technology and transform it into what we have today so that we might be able to further discover the world around us (Nasa).
These missions allowed for us to understand the moon and it’s relationship to the planet Earth-- its orbit, what it’s made of etc. (Nasa). We thought we had limitations as mankind that limited us to the surface of the Earth, but thanks to the Apollo MIssions these limits were broke and we now know much more about the universe today.
