Apollo: Cupid, The Greek God

The greek god that I chose was Apollo. Apollo is the greek god of many things. A couple of the things are; music, poetry, plague, medicine, sun and knowledge. Apollo is a well known god and the son of Zeus and Leto. His twin sister is Artemis, the god of the moon. Apollo also has a younger brother, Hermes. Hermes is the second youngest of the olympian gods. Apollo had a strong love for the maiden Daphne, but she despised him. The story of Apollo and Daphne is known by a lot of people. Cupid, the god of love got very offended when Apollo made fun of his arrows because to Apollo they were tiny and didn’t look like could do any harm. When Leto was about to give birth to Apollo and Artemis she had severe pain for 9 days and nights. Then on the tenth day she went to a lake and gave birth to Artemis.
