Apollo - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie The relationship between Okenwa and Raphael was secretly , the parents never knew about they son was having a strong relationship with Raphael. Both kids use to play around the house telling each other stories practicing kung fu when Okenwa parents were not home. As the article states” All the saw was that i know happened to play outside and Raphael was of course part of the landscape of outside page 5 line 31-32”. Basically, this quote is explaining that what OKenwa parents use to see is him playing outside by himself when they both kids are at the same place. They never make eyes contact so that Okenwa parents don't suspected something. This is important because , it is better to not let the parents knew about the relationship that they have toward each other. When Raphael got Apollo on his eyes,Okenwa was helping him by dropping the medicine to his eyes when his parents already told him to not go near him. Okenwa didn’t obey his parents opinion because his feeling for him was more the a friends. As the article states “ I dreamed of being with Raphael and Bruce lee in an open field,practicing for a fight page 8 line 18-19”. Basically, this quote show the feeling that Okenwa have for Raphael he see himself living in a house with him and Bruce lee to be part of the family because they both love Kung fu and love to watch Bruce lee movie . This is important because, for the fact that Okenwa see Raphael more the friend and already image is life with him show he has a strong feelings for him but , when it comes to Raphael he doesn't it see like that and they both do not know each other feeling which will bring confusing, regrets later on
