Man’s abilities were put to the test in the Apollo 11 mission. With a successful 7 minute launch and a successful landing, American citizens surely felt patriotic. At 3:39 AM the hatch was opened on the Eagle, the vessel that Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin were traveling through the stars in.
