ed’s mother Louise was unmarried. She got pregnant with Ted from a sailor named Jack Worthington who had left after he learned of her condition.During Ted’s childhood he believed that his grandmother and grandfather were his parents and that his real mother Louise was his sister. His grandfather had a violent temper and Ted was exposed to this. His grandfather was also abusive to animals, physically violent, and had a collection of disturbing pornography that Ted was also exposed to. Ted displayed unusual behavior at a young age. At the age of three his aunt had found kitchen knives around her body while she was sleeping. He would go from a sweet little boy to an unrecognizable child. He began finding it hard to adapt and he became isolated. He never dated or found interest to in highschool, he saw himself as a loser and an outsider. Even though money was tight at home he would steal from his family as he needed. In 1965 he graduated highschool and enrolled in the university of Washington. There he met a girl named Stephanie Brooks. She ended the relationship in 1968, things started going downhill and he left school telling family memories were too painful.Ted attended many different universities throughout his life. In 1965-1966 he attended the University of Puget sound. He then left since his first love broke up with him. In 1966-1968 he attended the University of Washington. In the year of 1969 he attended Temple University. In 1970-1972 he went to the University of Washington again and graduated with a degree in physcology. Then in 1973-1974 he was accepted to the University of Utah for Law school.In 1969 he had an obsession with violent pornography and he was getting urges to rape and kill women. He met a girl named Liz Kloepfer. He also dated many other women while being with Liz and he became a compulsive
