Entering the double-doors to start my 11th grade year evoked different emotions than had previous first days of school. The commencement of my freshman and sophomore years were nerve wracking, of course, yet an underlying excitement to see friendly faces had maintained my spirits. However, as a junior, my classmates were now off in their AP and honors classrooms, and I, in a state of ambivalence, was embarking on a new challenge: the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme.
