Todays economy in Canada is heavily based upon natural resources. That encompasses: mining, forestation and selling natural gas. These are all wonderful resources that Canada is lucky to have. The one problem is, it is essential we regulate how much of them, we use and how deep into the wilderness we progress in order to obtain them. As a result of harnessing natures deposits of convenience, we venture on to its turf, therefor endangering the homes of many animals. We have to regulate what we do and how we do it. Meaning, if we cut down one tree at least one more must be planted to replace a habitat for an animal. This has to be done on a time scale so the environment has adequate time to replace it’s treasures all the while keeping it’s local ecosystem thriving. This would be called the capacity of the environment. That is why by observing what has been done all around the world to similar ecosystems we can safely utilize those resources with the knowledge that they will be available for the next human as well as animal generations. After all, if we destroy ample amounts of natures habitat we will in turn batter the animal population, which in turn will hurt the food chain eventually reaching us
