When I decided to sign up for this class I wanted to challenge myself and improve my second-language. In this course we had have many opportunities to improve not only our grade, but the skills we need for the AP test and college itself. After the test reality hit me and realize that May is closer than expected. I need to start to do practice problems and cover everything possible to get a passing

Adding more additional information, making sure my audience haves a more developed and informative background to assure that there is an understatement of each topic addressed without any loophole or misunderstanding of the contempt used to give enough knowledge for the reader to at least be vaguely educated adequately for them to get a full understanding. Then when it comes to improving my vocabulary for it not to sound informal or favorited I choose to be more subjective, using more indirect words that put together show my knowledge and interest towards the subject without indirectly trying to adduce the audience to like the subject as much as I do. As well as pointing out negative variables of the subject. This South Korean boy band’s…

If I didn’t have an extremely busy schedule, this class would be much more easy because I would have more time to do my assignments. However, I count my schedule as a blessing because it is helping me to understand that I need to be more dedicated to school work, and that an extracurricular activity is exactly what its name implies- an addition to something more important. The more important thing is my school work. All in all, there is not much holding me back from learning. Because there isn’t much holding me back from learning, this class isn't that difficult to me.…

Reflecting on my midterm progress in English 102, I realize all rhetorical modes need to be employed to have an effective final product. My confidence in my ability to develop and express a clear message to the reader has grown exponentially since English 101. When I start my English 091 class, I had no idea of how to start a assay or how I could add some facts from any journal or other kind of information. Before this class I could say that I consider myself a terrible writer, I did not had a perfect grammar and neither a smooth writing. In many cases my writing did not make sense. Many times I just used to write whatever I had on my mind, sometimes I didn’t even plan before my final draft, I did not was organized . I have seen many improving things on my writing.…

The experience gained through this field experience was very positive and gratifying. The first couple of sessions were like the ground periods, I had to get familiar with Hidden Oaks Elementary School and their ESOL program as well as to meet the team of teachers and their students. I will hope to capture in this reflection the knowledge obtained, the positive aspects, and outcomes of this valuable practice. From the very beginning I felt very comfortable with both teachers and the students’.…

Reflecting on your previous writing can bring to light how your writing skills have improved and grown into your current writing. Previously, I had been exposed to a lot of writing and reading in my AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature classes in high school. The writing skills that I had learned in both classes dealt with analysis papers pertaining to a specific prompt or style. I also had been exposed to lots of literature, specifically short novels and poetry that I had to interpret. My high school AP English classes prepped me for the college level writing class at High Point University.…

Over the course of English 102, I have developed a new set of skills and learned to become a better writer. When I first came into English 102 I struggled with many different concepts of writing. During the semester in English 102, my writing became stronger because I learned how to incorporate evidence into my argument, do more thorough research, have smoother transitions, and have more organization throughout my essay. I learned how to peer review better and to take what others say and incorporate it into my essay. In the beginning, before English 102, I struggled with good organization and flow to an essay, sandwich evidence into paragraphs, and having strong arguments in persuasive essays.…

Over the course of this semester in my English 1320 class I have seen a drastic change throughout my writing style. Although I still have difficulties with a few writing tasks, I believe that I have improved significantly throughout this course. I have found that with my professor’s guidance along with my own personal editing that my grades have increased. Although it is difficult to not get caught up in simply striving for a letter grade or attaining a 4.0 grade point average, I would like to believe that my main goal was different. Of course I would love to achieve those goals as well, but overall my primary goal throughout this class was to become more relaxed and comfortable in my writings, to use new strategies and proper kinds of conventions, and to truly find a way to express my passion on these papers.…

This English class has been very helpful in my efforts to improve my writing abilities, but has also been very challenging due to there being a different median for every essay. It’s been a heavy work load especially this semester since I decided to enroll in five classes, but in the end it has been very beneficial indeed. I can’t say that writing essays has been one of my strong points but I believe that this course has helped me improve tremendously and it has also made me feel a lot more comfortable with my writing. While in high school I would usually write all of my essays a day before the due date a habit of mine that was very difficult to overcome, but now I have learned from my mistakes.…
