One of the strengths is definitely the infrastructure. Aon is financially responsible, and somewhat transparent. They also have excellent relationships with investors. Another strength is their human resource management. Aon is a safe environment to work in, with a very diverse workforce. Of course the majority of their employees are white, which reflect the country, but as the time progresses it will change as it changes right now. In our group of 22 interns this year we had majority of white, but also Indian, European, Asian, and we are fairly distributed by the gender. Discrimination doesn’t exist, or at least I didn’t notice it, so I would say this has to be a strength too. Aon has their Aon university internal training portal with thousands of courses available for employees to utilize. In terms of environmental impact Aon has their bins for recyclable materials separate from regular trash in every major room, which might include cafeteria, break room on every floor, near every printer, and in every big section of the building. They are in the service industry, which means that the people are their biggest asset, and by not having close relationship to major universities they wont be able to attract the best talent, therefore probably wont be able to keep up with the competition. My only reason to apply for them is because I am from Europe and watch soccer, and knew their name from the United jersey, and also living in Chicago their building is a major part of the city’s skyline. If I was born in the US, and lived in the west coast I would probably ignore them on the job fair. I personally think I am a good and well informed student, and if I hardly knew them, I am sure most of other students never heard of Aon. Other threats are of course different competitors on the market that are trying to “steal” Aon’s clients, which keeps Aon push even more in maintain great relationship with their clients. Another threat is definitely complaisance with different laws and regulations, especially in various different countries. In some emerging markets laws are very loose, or changed occasionally to address the development of the country and Aon needs to adapt to those as soon as possible if not immediately. Political unrests around the world where Aon has their offices and do business can significantly impact their business and they need
