Consequently, at whatever point I feel focused on I tend to have "stress responses" taking into account the anxiety level. My body responds to push physically, rationally, sincerely and socially. In this paper I would expound on my methods for adapting to the greater part of the anxiety responses that face me.…

There are multiple means of treating anxiety, including medication and psychotherapy. Though the most well known methods of treatment for generalized anxiety disorder have been successful, how art therapy affects children with generalized anxiety disorder has the potential to become a more desired choice. Research Method I used five different sources for my I-Search paper.…
The typical age range is said to be between the ages of 15 and 25 (Weisman and Levine, 2007). Over the years I have experienced both severe anxiety and depression. When I found my self in the middle of an anxiety attack I always tried to get away from everyone and just close my eyes to imagine my safe place, the place where my anxiety and depression did not suffocate me. This place I envisioned for myself is the same place I still find myself going back to in my mind, even today for example when I learned one of my classes might prevent me from going to pharmacy school in the fall. My special place is on the Coney Island beach under the pier. Usually when I take myself to this place, it isnt the dirty, moldy beach that we see when we go to Coney Island but it is absolutely beautiful.…
The Mental Health of Men Introduction Throughout history, men have been seen as superior in all ways to women, and this harmful stereotype still plays a role in today’s society. However, it wasn’t until recent times that the idea of mental disorders and health has been feminized and men’s mental health has largely been ignored (1). When referring to mental disorders and health, this is an encompassing term that refers to both affective and behavioral disorders that are patterned in both men and women (1). Although there has been some debate throughout history about empirical mental differences between men and women, it is proven that both sexes are capable of being diagnosed with the same mental disorders. Male and female victims…

Anxiety is something I have always been accustomed to, and even some of my earliest memories involve that anxious, nerve stricken feeling in the pit of my stomach. I was always the shy kid in the class, something to grow out of once I grew older, except that was not the case at all. Anxiety and I have grown closer over the years, so much so, that I developed several crippling anxiety disorders that shaped my life and how I lived it. It came on during my high school years and it affected my school work, my home life, and just about every instance in between. I would wake up every morning filled with anxiety dreading the day ahead of me, and waiting for it all to be over.…
