As you are here for a reason, most probably you know how difficult it may be to live with anxiety, phobias, panic attacks and stress.
You are aware of your feelings and your self sabotaging emotional pattern. You know your fears, and you might know how you developed them, or the motivations behind each of your fears. Yet, you know how difficult and frustrating it can be when your life seems to be controlled by overwhelming feelings that you are trying to overcome and the fact of understanding your feelings doesn’t seem to trigger any behavior or life changes.
Although you think in words, sentences and pictures, you feel your emotions as physical sensations in your body. Whatever your thoughts, so long as they will not generate or awaken emotions that you 'll perceive as feelings in your physical body, your thoughts cannot overwhelm you.
There is nothing wrong with experiencing powerful emotions. Generally, emotions are well contained and linked to the event that has generated them. Sometimes, negative emotions may persist and become "trapped". When trapped, emotions can start building up and getting you oversensitive. Then, adding the smallest new negative experience or just a reminder of a recent unpleasant experience may be the last straw
