Fisher should have had a case worker that was visiting him in foster care to make sure that all the things he did experience weren’t happening. Fisher should have been referred to a therapist during his years of foster care, Fisher had a lot of built up resentment from his detrimental childhood. Fisher would’ve benefited from being able to process his past trauma, maltreatment and abandonment issues with a therapist. Fisher should have also been referred to anger management treatment. Fisher could have benefited from learning coping skills. Fisher could have been taught different mechanism that would help him digress when he would have spells of anger. Fisher should have also been referred to one of the psychiatrists on our team to help him deal with his childhood Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Fisher could have received some medication for anxiety, he could’ve talked through the things that remind him of his trauma and eventually learned how to cope with them without being so negative affected that he responded in …show more content…
Fisher will visit the Victims Awareness panel In Miami-Dade twice a month because it is vital that my client has a quality of life with normally without feeling victimized or feeling like his peers are always “picking on him”. Fisher will gain the mentality that he was once a victim, but now he is a survivor and he has defeated all of the odds and all the unfortunate circumstances in his life. Fisher will undergo therapy session once a week with Citrus Health Network (4175 West 20th avenue) with Dr. Citron. In therapy, he will focus on how to properly articulate his needs and be able to function as an adult without feelings of worthlessness or abandonment issues lingering. Antwone Fisher will be referred to Dr. Stan Hyman (2999 NE 191 Street, Suite 703, Aventura, Florida, 33180) where he will receive anger management treatment. He will undergo cognitive reconstruction, relaxation therapy, coping skill management, problem solving techniques and endure a one week ropes
