Antojos uses third person limited meaning when you read the story you can only see things from one person's point of view. In the case of Antojos you see the story in Yolanda's point of view. The narrator starts off the story by saying straight up who is the main character. “For the first time Yolanda had reached the hills.” is the first sentence in the story of antojos. Third person omniscient is used in The storyteller. When reading the short story The storyteller you start off by seeing the point of view in the aunt's eyes telling her story to the three little kids on the train. Then after the story the kids start talking and giving their opinions and comments on the aunt's story. “It’s the stupidest story i ever heard,” said the bigger of the small girls. “ I didn't listen after the first bit, it was so stupid,” said Cyril. The narrator switches in between character in The storyteller other than Antojos that is only viewed by Yolanda's view. Another difference in between the stories is that The storyteller is a story within a story and Antojos is a story that does not tells stories but it does give us information of Yolanda's life in memories other than her telling a story. The narrator in The storyteller used third omniscient to make the story within the story happen. There is two stories in the short story, the aunt’s and the bachelors. Antojos tells us thing in a different way and that is in memories.

The Reliability of a Murderer The narrators in both “The Tale-Tell Heart” and “The Cask of Amontillado” are very unreliable. The narrators, in addition to being murderers, lie to both the reader and the other characters in the story. Due to the information about the narrators’ states of mind and ability to lie given in both stories, the readers of the stories should not accept what the narrator describes. Most people who commit murders or other horrific acts have a form of mental disability that makes their actions seem reasonable to themselves. The narrator in “The Tale-Tell Heart” starts the story by trying to convince the audience that he is not crazy, but the abundance of evidence that is presented within the story overwhelms the narrator’s…

The narrator narrates the Prologue and the Epilogue in first person and the rest of the novel is written in third person. The narrator is very distant from the characters in the novel, and this is shown by the fact that the reader never even learns his name. As a third person narrator in Chapters 1-9, the narrator is limited, because he does not know what is going on in the other characters minds. The narrator is unreliable because Ethan is obviously biased towards Mattie, so the reader never really knows if Ethan is exaggerating Zeena’s unfavorable qualities and Mattie’s favorable ones. The narrator also states in the Prologue, “I had the story, bit by bit, from various people, and, as generally happens in such cases, each time it was a different story.”…

The third-person point of view gives Smith's account a greater distinctive quality of authority - as if he is simply an observer to the experience he portrayed. His story involving Pocahontas could be used as an example for Smith to be unreliable. “Historians and ethnographers disagree about whether the incident happened, and if it did, whether Smith correctly understood its meaning in the context of the native culture.” (America Firsthand, 18) He uses embellishment to make this story more…
