April has been promoted to a multitasking executive aid. Chris delegates Tom up to the dreaded fourth floor to digitalize the city archives. And even though Andy Dwyer was not “super paying attention”, he is to work as a short term administrative assistant alongside Tom. He has also sorted out new seating arrangements for Ron. This clip deals with both job enrichment and job enlargement as each employee is given new jobs and tasks throughout the department. However, these new tasks and responsibilities don’t go over too well for everyone in the department.

House is a medical genius, his colleagues and patients do not take very well to his cold demeanor. In the clip, House is examining a child whose mother reveals that she is not vaccinating her child. When asked by House why she thinks vaccines do not work, she states that the pharmaceutical companies just want money. Dr. House then uses the toy frog to create an analogy about big companies. He then takes the analogy a step further saying that baby coffins are another good business. Dr. House elaborates saying that the antibodies in the mother’s breast milk only protect the baby for six months, and after that, the pharmaceutical companies “think” that parents will spend whatever is necessary to keep their child healthy. This clip deals with Redirecting Responsibility, Expert Power, Power, and Influence. In the clip the redirecting responsibility is expressed by House’s patient. She blames the drug companies for high prices as to why she will not vaccinate her baby. Expert power, power and influence are illustrated in the clip by House using his expertise to explain to the women why prices are that way and that babies are only protected up to six months. House uses his power to influence the women’s choice against
