The tests take the forms of a multiple choice quiz or an interview with the patient. What the two tests are looking to see is if their taker exhibits a certain set of interpersonal skills and behaviors which are associated with the psychopaths. Someone who is found to have these interpersonal skills and behaviors then would be diagnosed as a psychopath. Interpersonally, psychopaths are noted for their glibness and egocentric nature. Further, they are known to be for their ability to skillfully manipulate others. There is also emotional deficiency found in psychopaths. Emotionally, psychopaths do not feel guilt or remorse for their actions, nor do they have the capacity to feel empathy towards others.
