Although, majority of tragic heroes include deities, they all have human emotions that the people can relate to. Whether that is happiness, grudges, jealously they display human characteristics.
For instance, Antigone is a tragedy by Sophocles. Antigone is the tragic hero in this case. Despite, king Kreon being the king, I’m sure readers did not have as much sympathy for him as much as Antigone. King Kreon’s law states that the brother of Antigone and Ismene, Eteocles will be buried with dignity. Leaving out the other brother Polyneice’s body will not be buried and left outside to rot. Furthermore, whoever decides to go out their way and try to give him a proper burial will be punished. Antigone did not agree with the law. She immediately goes and tries to bury her brother. However, Ismene disagrees and tells Antigone, she should be cooperative and follow the law. As she tries to stop
