Some are so consumed by grief and agony that they nearly yield themselves. Others take a moment to reflect on life. It is important to not bury our heads in the sand, instead, to make responsible preparations which include our wishes for best for our family, friends, and relatives and also financial and legal arrangements for those who are left. Death gives us total reason for living because it provides us structure on how we appreciate and how we guide our lives. From the play that I read, Antigone, there is a character that strongly identifies with me. Out of all of the characters, I discovered that Ismene has the most similarities as me than the others because we are both supportive and care for our family members, regardless of their actions. To begin with, Ismene is reasonably a self-righteous person because she thinks ahead and follows the laws. The following quote will demonstrate simply as is, “But think of the danger! Think what Creon will do!”…

"Politics" originates from polis. This current term's accentuation is on group instead of the zone of region on which the state stands. In bygone governments the ruler's manner shaped the focal point of the city, around which everything else was gathered. Conversely, it was the public square or commercial center that shaped the focal meeting spot for residents in the polis. Political choice making forces were exchanged from the ruler to the get together; choices were figured in broad daylight; they must be defended to the natives and required their understanding.…

In my opinion Sophocles was trying create a separation between household and government affairs. Burying ones loved ones would be a household affair. Antigone felt that because Polyneices was her brother and because it was a religious custom to bury ones’ love ones so they would rest in peace and not haunt the family, she needed to bury her brother.…
