The beginning of the 20th century can be taken stock of the infectious diseases era for the humankind from a medical perspective (Bockstael and Aerschot, 2009). Until the invention of numbers of antibiotics starting with the discovery of first antibiotic, penicillin, by Fleming in 1928, struggling with deaths caused by bacterial infections was a serious worldwide health problem (Levy, 1992).
