When Individuals hear the term anti- pornography the association of anti- sex generally comes to mind. But there are multiple reasons for opposition to pornography which often include religious beliefs, feminist concerns, and harm that can be inflicted to both genders. Religious views on pornography frequently leave the individual feeling guilty, and shameful of themselves.

The term pro sexuality could simply mean the idea that all sex as long as it 's consensual and healthy is a positive thing. There is a myth that one has to be pro- pornography to be pro- sex but that essentially just isn 't the case. Another myth is that one has to engage in sexual activities on a regular basis, which is also false. As human being we are limited to our needs due to society embracing those limitations, but pro- sex is commonly referred to as a balance. As humans we eat to survive and drink liquids to survive and simply procreate for survival as well, and satisfying our needs should be considered a balance. Within the United States culture, women are socialized or set to certain standards therefore limiting themselves to fulfill their own sexual desires, and some women may never experience those desires due to society’s disapproval.
