A great number unforgettable characters are actually “second” characters that gave such a twist to the storyline that it became epic. These characters can be of both, good or bad nature and their reasons are not always thoroughly explained.
An “Anti-hero” as the name says is a contradiction, while these characters are not exactly bad, they are not good either. These characters have very complex internal struggles; a number of times is thanks to a tragic past that they lost some faith in society. They have both “hero” and “villain” traits, for example, their hate for injustice and their cynical sense of humor but have good intentions. A very famous antihero nowadays is Deadpool.
Characters are the reason why we like a specific book so much, they grow in our hearts, we witness what decision they take as the story keeps developing. As a result of their choices the story develops certain way and we just can’t abandon it. Their terrible struggles and their glorious moments is what makes a story so incredible and fascinating, their true nature is what inspire us to keep on reading or
