Sports are a huge part of every country in the world. There are professional sports and they have Winter and Summer Olympics. There are even High School and College sports. In sports, there are people who try to get an upper hand and try to get an advantage in the competition they are doing. They try to get away with doping in sports, from performance enhancers to over the counter pills to calm them down or to ease the pain if they are in any. They know that it is cheating to take drugs. If they get caught doing drugs while they are in sports, it can have a negative effect on the person doing it and the team if they are in a team sport. It is not easy to cheat a drug test. The people who analyze the drug test know what they are doing and do not miss anything when they are analyzing the test. The athletes know they will have a test at some point in time because there are agencies out there like the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) who have policies for athletes and to prevent them from cheating and harming their bodies. USADA is only based in the United States and deals with Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American, and Parapan American sport. It is responsible for in-competition and out-of-competition drug testing. Their mission is to preserve the integrity of competition, inspire true sport, and protect the rights of U.S. athletes. WADA was created in 1999 as an international independent agency composed and funded equally by the sports movement and governments of the world. Its key activities include scientific research, education, development of anti-doping capacities, and monitoring of the World Anti-Doping Code the document harmonizing anti-doping policies in all sports and all countries.
